Last Friday, Adelaide's legendary Little Miss Group launched their latest venture, taking over from the space previously occupied by Little Miss Miami. As the doors opened at 6pm, Adelaide media and VIPs flocked inside to get a glimpse of Little Miss Dive Shop, that instantly became one of the craziest launch nights we have seen in a while.
Sitting outside the venue, the sign which previously housed the fluorescent pink flamingo is now home to a bright blue diving helmet, giving us our first little taste as to what Little Miss Dive Shop is all about. Inside the venue, repurposed materials, props and decor have been utilised to create that signature Little Miss vibe we all know and love.
Keeping in tune with some of their previous projects Little Miss Miami and Crab Shack, Little Miss Dive Shop takes the sea inspired theme to new depths, featuring buoys, paddles, fisherman nets, ropes and vintage life jackets. Similarly to Little Miss Miami, the fish tank wall provides a feature alongside the bar, adding to those underwater feels.
Throughout the night we were offered a range of tasty treats which will be available on the menu, including fish tacos, sliders, chicken wings and juicy corn on the cob. Drinks for the evening included sangria cocktails, premium beer and local SA wine, making up just some of the impressive drinks list that will be on offer.
After a fantastic first week, we predict that Little Miss Dive Shop will be getting wet n' wild all winter long. With weekly specials, late night eats and laid-back beats, Dive Shop ticks all of the boxes.
