MUSE Announces Release Date For New Album Simulation Theory

Since their last studio album, Drones, was released in June 2015, Muse have proven to the world that they are without a doubt one of the best live bands in world. Winning numerous music awards including two Grammy Awards, an American Music Award, five MTV Europe Music Awards, ten NME Awards and seven Q Awards, the list goes on. Not only that, but Drones debuted at #1 in 21 countries around the world, it also went on to win the Grammy Awards for “Best Rock Album” in February 2016.

Now, the British trio are back with their brand new album Simulation Theory which they have announced will be released on November 9th. This eleven-track record contains recent singles Something Human, Thought Contagion, Dig Down and the brand new track The Dark Side, and was produced by Muse themselves, Matt Bellamy, Chris Wolstenholme and Dominic Howard. Along side multiple award-winning producers such as Rich Costey, Mike Elizondo, Shellback and Timbaland.

Simulation Theory will be released in Standard (11 tracks), Deluxe (16 tracks), and Super Deluxe (21 tracks). Fans will be able to grab themselves a copy of the new album in both CD and Vinyl form, and for the super dooper fans they can add a wonderful super deluxe boxset to their collection. The expanded tracklisting features acoustic versions of several tracks, as well as an acoustic gospel version of Dig Down and “Alternate Reality” versions of Algorithm and The Dark Side. Fans can also get a little treat with the amazing artwork that has been illustrated for the album, digital artist Kyle Lambert, who has previously done work for Stranger Things, Jurassic Park and many other films, has brought a mind-bending, out of this world vibe to the album. The Super Deluxe cover was illustrated by Paul Shipper, who has produced work for Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Avengers: Affinity War.
