With the Summer season soon coming to a close, Autumn is certainly providing us reason to maintain the festive mood. As we attempt to brace for ‘Mad March’, the Adelaide Hills is providing the perfect festival to capture the essence of the golden season.
This year marks the second annual ‘Stirling Fringe Festival’, boasting an immersive 10 days in the state’s picturesque Adelaide Hills. The festival provides an intimate experience in early March, featuring 80 artists from around the world performing at the pinnacle of this spectacular region.
Diversity is definitely abundant at the Stirling Fringe. With the program stacked with both local and international shows which comprise of roaring comedies, vaudeville acts, cabaret, live music and even a risqué late-night program. With such an intricate line-up there’s something to catch everyone’s eye.

Beer and wine are immense and fruitful at the Stirling Fringe, with Uraidla Brewery being the major sponsor of the event. These craft beer specialists have a major emphasis on supporting the local Adelaide community, so much so that they are eager to launch their new range of boutique beers through the tenure of the festival.
Maybe your more of the wine type? A variety of critically acclaimed Basket Wine Region names will be showcasing their stunning wines at the Stirling Fringe Bar. The Basket Wine Region is one of the world’s highest recognised vineyards of minimal intervention winemakers in the world. BK Wines, Commune Of Buttons, CRFT, Gentle Fold, Jauma and Ochota Barrels are just few of the major names featured at this year’s festival. So, whether you’re a wine connoisseur or just someone that loves a backyard binge, there is ample variety to please all.
