It's almost time to start shaking your groove thing at Groovin The Moo, and we're sure if you've snatched yourself some tickets then you have been plaining your day from start 'til finish! If you're a little on the need-to-know side of the lineup, or just need something to fill up your schedule, then let us help with five hand picks to go see at this year's festival.
HORROR MY FRIEND
Horror My Friend are a local Adelaide bunch of lads that we highly suggest you go see, not only to support your local bands, but because they always throw a stellar performance. This trio treat audiences to indie-rock that's always full of energy, so you can boogy down throughout their performance.
A solid round of applause for another Adelaide act! You probably all know about our beloved Allday, but if you don't then let's get you educated. Allday is a rapper who started out by uploading his music free online for listeners, before he quickly gathered a rather large following, becoming the stunning performer we know and love today. You'll be wanting to catch his set at Groovin, because if you don't you may regret it.
When killer lady Tash Sultana hit the lineup this year, we were jumping with excitement. Tash's sets are always perfection and it's amazing to watch an artist become completely taken away with their own music. This guitar goddess will blow you away, with a rockin' performance that you'll catch us dancing at. So, sit back (or dance) and let Tash shred her way into your hearts.
NORTHEAST PARTY HOUSE
How do we explain our excitement about these buzzin' boys being on the lineup? YEEEAAAHH BOOIII! This is one of the sets that you'll be kicking yourself for if you miss it, so clear your schedule to make room for these lads! It's going to be a indie rocking, head banging, soul bearing performance and we don't want to pressure you or anything... but we'll be disappointed if you don't catch this one. Prepare yourself, it's going to go off.
It's been 5 years since UK trio, The Wombats, hit the Groovin The Moo stage; we're sure there were plenty of happy tears when it was announced they would be joining us again for 2017! It'd be a ~Greek~ tragedy to miss this set, bound to be filled with blood pumping and heart racing tunes to sing along to. Get ready for the synth explosion, it's not going to be a party it's going to be a ~Backfire at the Disco~ (we couldn't help ourselves).
