Enlighten Adelaide Festival
The eighth annual Enlighten Adelaide festival is returning bigger and better this year. Held at the Adelaide Convention Centre, this two-day ‘feel good’ event will bring you a range of wellness products and services in a relaxed atmosphere. Expect day spas, health foods, uplifting live music performances and demonstrations as well as a range of workshops hosted by some of SA’s leading wellness gurus.

We’ve already written an article about this (read it here), but an entire festival dedicated to doggos is surely worth mentioning again. Expect a family-friendly atmosphere filled with your favourite furry pals. Be prepared to have a ‘pawsome’ time with refreshments (for both you and your pooch) and talented live musicians.

Tracks, hosted by Express Media, is a pop-up program for writers that travels around Australia, bringing incredible opportunities such as masterclasses and workshops with it. Aspiring young writers of Adelaide, listen up because Express Media are partnering with SA Writers Centre to bring this program to Adelaide in April. This one-day event will allow young storytellers (aged 14 – 25) to work with some of South Australia’s most accomplished authors. Included on the day is a fiction masterclass with author Rebekah Clarkson, and a nonfiction masterclass with journalist Rocye Kurmelovs.

Hosted The Porch Sessions, this autumn festival will delight all of your senses. Indulge in delicious food and drinks brought to you by local businesses, while kickin’ back on a Persian rug or browsing the market bazaar –all in a beautiful Adelaide Hills location. Naturally, there’s an absolutely banging line up that’ll keep you grooving all day, including Sons of The East and Jack Carty. Read more about it here.

Get down to Port Adelaide for this festival that celebrates art on a massive scale. Featuring a number of renowned local, national and international artists, this isn’t one to miss. There’ll be an opening night street party, talks by artists, photographic tours and murals being painted right before your eyes. Of course, you’ll also be able to enjoy an assortment of delish food and wine, while soaking in the art.

Where: The Flour Shed, Port Adelaide
When: 21st – 23rd April
Etsy Adelaide are collaborating with The Spire Community to bring you what’s being called the best market of the season. This twilight market will bring you an incredible amount of art, crafts, home-wares, fashion and vintage goods as well as delectable international cuisine prepared for you by the refugees and asylum seekers that are supported by The Spire Community. This unique event will give you an opportunity to support a good cause and your local Adelaide creators – there’s no reason not to go along!
