February 24 was a night to remember thanks to our friends The Delta Riggs, we were treated with a special little performance from these wonderful lads at the Royal Croquet Club. It was such a groovy experience we feel bad if you weren't able to attend, so we've decided to give you a recap on the night so you don't feel like you missed out on too much.
If you've already been to the Royal Croquet Club then you know how exciting it is, the vibes are seriously rockin' and everybody is there to have a blast.
The highlight of the night was The Delta Riggs, who arrived on stage at 12am, and the crowd went wild. Front man Elliot was grooving like nothing we've ever seen and we have to say we are a bit jealous of those rad moves. The audience was blessed with the band's natural funk and were able to get a taste of old and new songs, people were so hyped and even helped a girl get up on stage who then continued to dance with Elliot, the legend himself. (Pffft, no we're not jealous at all).
If you've been to one of their concerts before than you'll have an idea on how wicked the experience is, if not close your eyes and imagine a blur of red and blue lights, dancing, making friends in the crowd and watching the band boogie down. The mad-men then headed down to our beloved Fat Controller club and treated fans to a very special DJ set, boy it was a night to remember.
If you want to be able to experience all this, the lads will be playing at Party in the Park festival on the 18th of March in NSW, if you'd like information on the festival click here for more.
