Style officially found a new home as Revoque launched their new Pirie Street showrooms on February 10. We celebrated the talented Danica Ryan, Katya Komarova and Clarence Frank’s arrival to their space with the help of wine by Alpha Box & Dice, a spread by The Muse Bar and of course surrounded by impressive pieces from each of the designers.
Renew Adelaide have once again demonstrated the value in supporting young entrepreneurs, as three powerhouse fashion innovators take on 50 Pirie Street. With an unwavering commitment to bringing fresh life to the vacant spaces of Adelaide CBD, Revoque's new space is the not-for-profit’s second project in the building, joining Level 1’s freelance office space, Super 8.
The high rise space consists of an open communal area as well as quieter, segregated rooms that serve perfectly for the stages of each respective business. The offices are set for appointments with customers and potential stockists as well as a large showroom. In an act of Adelaide businesses supporting local talent, there will be opportunities for other designers to use the space for storage and showings of their own.
Building a brand that caters to the ‘modern mama’, Ryan is both the founder and designer of fashion label, Revoque. Striking a unique balance of mother practicality and stylish designs, each piece sees a modern take on predominantly classic silhouettes. With luxe fabrics, a little extra length and even pockets, its no wonder the stylist has such a strong following. Stay tuned as she has hinted at something special in the works in the lead up to the Adelaide Cup.
Sustainable designer of handcrafted leather accessories, Katya Komarova joins the Revoque showroom in a collaboration that was simply meant to be. The relationship with Danica formed organically, and her showroom within the Revoque office follows ongoing and extensive efforts with Renew. Katya specialises in distinctive leather goods including our favourite from the evening, The Birdcage Skirt.
Gorgeous dresses, check. Stunning accessories, check. Beautiful handbags, check! Rounding off the dynamic trio, Clarence Frank and his timeless designs are an ideal match for the young, entrepreneurial collaboration. Since launching in 2015, Frank has built his boutique brand on the foundations of quality and exclusivity through small batch manufacturing. Just as his purses are the perfect touch to any outfit, Clarence Frank and Revoque are a match made for each other.
