River Torrens Popeye Cruise

There is no date more Adeladian than this. Honestly, Popeye has been on the River Torrens since 1935. My Nanna probably went on a date on this vessel. Popeye offers a 40 minute round cruise departing from Elder Park Wharf, travelling down to the Torrens Weir, all the way upstream to the Adelaide Zoo before heading back to the wharf. Your knowledgeable skipper will highlight landmarks and points of interest along the way, making for a pretty and educational date. Opt in for the whole trip, stop off at the zoo, or travel one way only - with no bookings required you can cruise on down (hah) whenever suits you.  For more information, suss here.

Where: Banks of the River Torrens opposite Adelaide Zoo and Elder Park Wharf

When: 10am – 4pm, every hour on the hour

Cost: $5 - $15 depending on trip length
