Wednesday night saw The Paradise Hotel launch its much-anticipated new look just in time for Christmas. The hotel’s extensive renovation was inspired by Italy’s stunning Isle of Capri and is largely eco-friendly. With a colourful Mediterranean-style ceramic tile motif, an abundance of potted plants, dressed timber, raw pine beams and plenty of natural light, there’s no doubt the refurbishment allows the hotel to truly live up to its name and become a suburban paradise.
With a laid-back and welcoming atmosphere, it’s clear the renovated hotel will cultivate a community feel. Owner Greg Maitland states, “With all the work that has gone in to upgrading the Hotel over the past three months, we now have something to suit everyone…We consider The Paradise Hotel the perfect destination for any celebration this summer, whether you’re enjoying a few drinks with friends or enjoying a family gathering.”
To complement the hotel’s renovation, Head Chef Matthew De-Cean and Executive Chef Chris Wotton have crafted a mouth-watering new menu (did someone say Haloumi fries?). The vibrant menu has something for everyone and features an array of vegetarian, gluten free and share options.
De-Cean says, “The new menu features a variety of modern dishes, but we haven’t forgotten about the good old fashion pub favourites that everyone enjoys. We’re a great suburban hotel with great food offerings…the rotisserie chicken and seafood platter for two are expected to be the new crowd favourite dishes, as well as the slow roasted scotch fillet, which is my personal favourite.”
This summer, enjoy delicious food and great service in the newly refurbished hotel and #runtoparadise.
