A lot has happened in three years... NASA confirmed the presence of water on Mars, the UK voted to leave the EU and how can we forget that Donald Trump became president - but there's also some other pretty significant stuff that has happened in that time. In late 2014, This is Radelaide was born, an idea sparked by two media students who wanted to let their creative juices flow, with a vision to create a publication that spanned across Adelaide's diverse cultural, music, art, food and fashion scenes. Aside from this, our co-founders wanted to shine a light on local movers and shakers - the people that make Adelaide, Radelaide.
Three years on, we are incredibly proud to be one of Adelaide's leading online publications - something that is definitely worth celebrating! To give back to our amazing community, the people that have read our articles, followed our social accounts and helped us at all along the way, we'll be throwing a massive party at the Crown & Sceptre on Friday, November 24 with some of our favourite up and coming local bands.
The beers will be flowing, and we'll be giving away heaps of prizes throughout the night. There'll be Beat Tape Junkie's DJ in the beer garden, with local bands taking the stage from 9pm - late.
From Monday, November 13 until Friday, November 24 we will also be posting giveaways across our Facebook and Instagram pages, including the most insane prize we have EVER given away... A Weekend in Radelaide! Stay tuned for this one because you definitely will want to enter.
Over the next couple of weeks you will also get to meet the team behind your beloved publication, to get a little bit more of an insight into who puts together your daily dose of Adelaide info.
Thanks for coming along for the ride friends, we can't wait to meet everyone on November 24!
