The RDJones Group won six awards at the AHA|SA Hotel Industry Awards for Excellence on the evening of the 26th last week, with The Moseley Bar & Kitchen scoring big time.
The now established stalwart of Moseley square, The Moseley Bar & Kitchen was named South Australia’s Best Overall Hotel. On top of this monumental honour, they also took home awards for the Best Bistro Metropolitan, Best Bar Presentation, and Best Entertainment Venue - each of these awards demonstrating the wide array of entertainment options for those who mosey on in (sorry) for a drink or feed.
After receiving the awards, Operations Manager Luke Donaldson said that “The award recognition this year is more sentimental for our team given the recent passing of Richard Jones, Founder and Managing Director of the RD Jones Group.
“As a family business, we will be forever grateful to Richard and Denise, along with our 1000s of employees, for the opportunity to be involved in such a dynamic and progressive business."
“We’ve worked hard to create exceptional venues that stand out as a destination, offering unforgettable experiences. Our customers are always seeking more and we’re always trying to exceed their expectations with delicious food and beverage options, great events and on point entertainment consistently."
Having frequented the Moseley due to its welcome embrace and catering for all ages and all moods, we reckon Luke has nailed it. We definitely recommend a cheeky cocktail (or five) on the weekend.
On the back of such critical acclaim, there's simply no reason not to head to Glenelg and see for yourself what all the fuss is about!
We wish the whole Moseley crew the best in taking out the title for best hotel in Australia at the upcoming National awards.
