Dear Daisy, I’m sorry I’ve neglected you all this time. I’ve been having a love affair with Cherry Darlings Bakehouse across the road and didn’t see you. But now that I have, I can’t look away. You have my heart.
I'm always looking for new places to have a meal, and once I discovered this gem in Forestville, I knew I was a changed gal. The menu caters to all dietary requirements, making this sweet spot a winner in yet another way. (If you need even more inspiration for veggie goodness in Adelaide, we can help you out.)
This corner-shop café is right near the Forestville train stop, making it impossible to deny yourself the right to a delicious meal. And, like I mentioned… It’s literally across the road from Cherry Darlings. How could you resist?
Whether you’re feeling a latte and raw brownie, a big breakfast or a hamburger – Dear Daisy have you covered. The beautiful people who work will leave you with a huge smile, too. Another plus.
I dragged along a friend, and her mexi-beans, poached eggs, toasted Turkish bread and fresh OJ had her jumping for a joy. The breakfast had this bean-enthusiast’s day made. I had the vegan smashed avo, complete with – get ready – almond feta. Who knew that even existed? Not me, that’s for sure. But it does. And oh man, am I in love.
In the middle of winter, the sun was shining down on us, and I’m convinced it always does here at Dear Daisy.
