Adelaide is full of amazing and beautiful hair salons, but with most you would have to trek to the city for; this means travel time, finding (and paying for) a park, and getting your recently done 'do caught in the winds of the CBD streets. However if you reside on the South side of town we can say all your wishes have come true.
Wish Hair & Body re-launched with a salon make-over by taking advantage of the space and adding a new aspect to the business called Wish To Borrow. The salon is now a one-stop-shop for all your formal, wedding and special occasion needs with services from hair-do's to make-up, outfit organising to eyelash extending; Wish has it all.
Created in 2005 by Noeline Wishart, and then passed down to daughter Kate Wishart in 2014, this salon is a staple destination for women and men in the Glenelg region. Hairdressers Kate, Abi and Emily work alongside freelance make-up artist Jasmine Parkes and lash extension pro Rachel Kate Lashes to provide you with the make-over you deserve! Products they love to use on your locks are Nak, Sculpture and Aromas, as well as the best of the GHD collection. The Wish To Borrow section of the salon is a hire clothing boutique open via appointment, with labels such as Lucy In The Sky, Shona Joy, Sir the Label and Asilio just to name a few!
You can make an appointment by checking out the Wish Hair & Body website or call them on 8294 3114 or find Wish at 49 Sandison Terrace, Glenelg South. We'd like to thank Kate and the team for having us on their launch night, we had a great time at your beautiful salon. Check out their Facebook and Instagram pages for some fantastic hair-spo!
