Few collaborations inspire quite the excitement as that between active wear juggernaut Lorna Jane and new kids on the block (or should we say barre) Aleenta Barre. Both known for their beautiful design sense, enthusiastic staff and commitment to improving health and wellbeing, the pairing is truly a match made in heaven. Monday October 31st saw us clutch the clothes rails of Lorna Jane’s Glenelg store as they played host to Aleenta’s latest studio for a collision of barre class and VIP shopping experience.
In addition to the racks upon racks of gorgeous fitness garments, we were lucky enough to gain a sneak preview to next month’s, yet to be released line from Lorna Jane. Fresh out of the box, the new line features peaceful mandala patterns, funky leopard print and a classic grey/black palette. Loose fitting tanks, gorgeous variations of the classic sports bras and of course tights on tights we couldn’t help but stake our claim on the latest stock to get us through future challenging trips to the barre.
With matts lining, the store and weights in tow - this wasn’t going to be a breezy bout of stretching. In fact, we were treated to a full length Barre Burn class that got us feeling muscles we didn’t even know we had. Run by flexibility extraordinaire Sally, we worked to strengthen and tone everything from abs to glutes. We couldn’t help but be inspired by the gorgeous range of tights, sports bras and pilates socks that adorned the walls that we clutched to.
We loved pushing our muscles to the limit with Sally, for more on the classes offered by Aleenta Barre check out our article here!
