Set in the idyllic surroundings of Turkey Flat Vineyard's Cellar Door in the Barossa Valley, Silver Raven will surely be the most picturesque festival Adelaide has seen to date.
It's not just the setting which has us excited though, the line-up for the inaugural festival features some of the very best local and international talent going around.
Local favourites Ollie English, Koral and the Goodbye Horses, and outsider rock up-starts Bad//Dreems will wear the SA-Heaps Good pride on their sleeves. They won't be alone, with Americana reinforcements Hana & Jessie-Lee (the Sloe Ruin) and the crafty folk sounds of The Audreys coming along for the ride.
However no Americana-inspired festival would be complete without some big names. Cult NYC-based punk-party animals Endless Boogie will bring some manic energy to the calm surrounds. The ever-versatile Eilen Jewell will bring her unique sound, while Jason Isbell will play one of his first shows in Australia since 2014, right on our very own doorstep.
With tickets from $79 +BF and transport to and from the vineyard an option, Silver Raven Festival looks like a real goer.
Get moving SA, we're onto a good thing here.
