If there was ever a more vibrant, whimsical and intriguing event than Boho Barcelona- Cellar Door & Bar, we'll eat our sangria bucket. Over the past weekend, Mclaren Vale winery Down The Rabbit Hole turned The Producers Bar into a riddle of Spanish-inspired rooms, complete with colorful cushioned sitting areas, tapas, live music, sangria and printed replicas of the famous Barcelona tiles.
Not only was this event a fun and interesting excuse for a night out, it was also excellent value. For just a $25 ticket price, guests were treated to a range of Down The Rabbit Hole wine tastings, a $30 Uber taxi voucher and an abundance of good vibes and live Spanish music.
Very easy on the eye and with a precise attention to decorative detail, the night was also personalised by a costumed doorman, who greeted each group of guests with a poetic welcome performance (as well as directions to the wine tasting). A very entertaining touch and it set the scene for the personality of the night, which could be summed up as 'Alice goes to Boho-Barcelona land'
Known for their character and charm, Down The Rabbit Hole injected their style into the event, creating a bohemian style pop-up venue that truly glittered with charm and a twist of 'Alice in Wonderland,' as their name would suggest. This aside, their wines proved that glitzing up a pub is not the limit of this winery's talents! If there is one way to attract a crowd, it's through a clever atmosphere and delicious wines. Boho Barcelona successfully captured the inner bohemian in all of us!
