Francis Street in Adelaide's Rundle Mall turned into a spring dream on Thursday night, as Rundle Place celebrated the arrival of Spring/Summer 2015/2016 collections. Draped over a crisp white runway created by Atmosphere Events Adelaide, flowers hanging made a stunning, sophisticated and spring atmosphere. The fashion provided an insight into the must-have styles of SS15/16, all of which were exquisite.
Entering this season, you need to be prepared for an abundance of white. Whether it’s as a statement piece, worn head to toe, or simply used to break up an outfit, whites and creams are all in play this season.
Among white, the modern safari look featuring chic khaki pieces and camp-inspired designs took the runway. Get wild with safari-inspired dresses, khaki trenches and leaf prints. You'll be anything but invisible this season.
Floral vs. Nautical?
The fancy florals and statement stripes have both made it back this season, for both the ladies and the gents.
The nautical ship has also sailed this season, with bold thick stripes and coloured motifs creating a modern feel to the timeless men’s casual wear 'sailor' style . For the ladies, it’s not just limited to the standard stripe. Nautical this season is all encompassing so do opt for the rope detailing and fisherman sweaters.
Simple wedges and strappy stilettos are the perfect shoes to dress up any outfit. Although if your looking for something a little more casual, a classic pair of Oxfords are back (in every colour imaginable) this season.
