We're right in the heart of Winter and we all know what happens when we hit our cold peak. We feel sluggish, we eat more than our fair share of comfort food and have had the same cold since the first of June. We tried to get out of our toasty-warm beds and onto the death trail that is Lofty, and attempted to be inspired by pics of Emily Skye, but we actually went on to eat vegemite crumpets and sip on hot chocolates while watching the new Suits episodes.
One excuse to get out of our lazy, lethargic July behaviours is Panacea Studio at 43 George Street, Norwood. With their holistic view, their ambition is to provide health and healing to all clients through Pilates, Massage, Nutrition, Naturopathy, and Acupuncture.
Panacea Studio's launch event featured tastings from fellow Norwood neighbours Juice Bureau, showcasing their popular cleansing juices and detoxifying range. The Adelaide Winemakers, based in the exquisite McLaren Vale, were also showcasing some of the Blackbilly wines including Pinot Gris, Sangiovese, Grenache Shiraz Mourvedere, and Shiraz. They had some homemade nibbles, beers, ciders, and even protein shakes to offer their guests and the Norwood community.
Panacea Studio officially opened earlier this year in March, which was kind of bad timing as winter was approaching, according to Panacea owner Catherine. They have had a relatively good start to the business however, with many mums taking interest in the intimate Pilates classes. Pilates is a great way to focus on strengthening your core, assisting in many internal and external issues. The nutritional side of Panacea is just as important, as the Nutritionist sees a holistic view on health, using food and supplements as medicine, swapping pharmaceuticals for whole foods.
Naturopathy is another way Panacea advocates holistic health, with the use of herbs, supplements and lifestyle alterations, Naturopathy is about the individual persons needs with a variety of treatments. The use of Acupuncture and Massage are highly recommended for patients who need tension relief or have specific injuries. Acupuncture specifically helps and prevents illness and chronic injuries using the meridians in the body.
Not only is Panacea Studio in a prime location, but their helpful and compassionate staff are ready to help you with your individual needs. Each staff member has had years of experience in their field and are willing to give you the best advice and treatment, so you get as much as you can out of the consultations.
Panacea Pilates classes run from Monday to Saturday, where you can purchase blocks of 5, 10, 20 classes or a year pass. The best thing about Panacea Studio is the staff and their willingness to help patients, without giving incorrect advice or milking your bank account! This is a bunch of docs you can trust.
Check out their offers or book a consultation for any of the treatments via the Panacea website. Alternatively, give them a call on 08 8431 4212 where the staff will be happy to assist any of your needs.
