Clark Spendelow is an Adelaide based graphic designer doing some pretty cool things around the Adelaide creative scene, showcasing his work at the RAW EXPOSURE exhibition this Friday.
Clark is a dedicated designer who produces quirky, innovative and rad designs for both clients and his personal projects. His style is simple yet recognisable, and is always carried out with a creative flair. He is inspired by people who fight to do what they love, "creating interesting things that people like to look at", he says.
Clark's work spans across many different forms, from murals to lamps and graphics to sketches, Clark does it all. Not only a graphic designer but an art director, branding whizz and artist, one of Clark's main projects of late has been making skateboards. From cutting to sculpting and overall designing, each skateboard is tailor made for the individuality of the person, producing an interesting and beautiful end product.
One of Clark's other personal projects is called Perception; a story board of images which reflects the idea that an individual's perception is based on how they view the world. A captivating series of work, Clark captures this notion perfectly through a series of images based around this concept.
Being selected as one of Adelaide's emerging creatives, Clark will be a part of some of the country's best creative talent to be showcased at the RAW EXPOSURE showcase. He says, "(Raw) has the potential to allow someone to gain exposure in a field of craft that they are passionate about", and is excited to be a part of it.
A talented graphic designer and artist in his own right, Clark's ideas and designs are captivating, artistic and creative. Get down to see this talented guy and many more at RAW EXPOSURE this Friday, April 10th; held at The Old Exchange & Producers Bar on Grenfell Street. Tickets can be bought here.
