Another weekend is upon us in Radelaide. With the Fringe and the festivities of Mad March well and truly over, it is now time to turn your attention to the other exciting endeavours of the Adelaidian locals.
This time, it comes from Tropcorp Director, Antony Tropeano, in the form of Adelaide’s newsest pop-up bar, Brew and Chew.
With the craft beer industry continuing to grow and flourish in South Australia, Mr. Tropeano believes that the diversity of the pop up bar’s offerings will bring something different to the Adelaide scene.
“Our unique menu is designed to compliment the brews on offer,” he says.
“We have pulled some inspiration from the success of our Southern American food inspired menu at The Curious Squire.”
Menu items to get you drooling include pulled pork sliders, mac and cheese sundaes, onion rings and mozzarella sticks, all of which I am sure will have you coming back for seconds.
Aiden Raper, Brew and Chew venue manager believes that the pop-up bar can add buzz to the Adelaide city nightlife, “we really want Brew and Chew to establish itself as a popular nightspot for Friday night knockoffs and weekend antics,” he says.
To satisfy those crafty beer lovers amongst you, there will be Tropeano’s own craft beer Malt Fiction ’13 Pale, as well as Thunder Road Brewery’s Brunswick Bitter. From the fridge, both locally and imported craft beer and cider have been selected, focusing in particular on supporting local brands sourced from South Australia.
Brew and Chew is set to open tonight at 111 Hindley Street, and will be adding a little something extra to the Adelaide bar scene. Make sure you get down tonight and grab yourself a tasty delight and a craft beer to match.
