A new era is upon us. It's time to say goodbye to Adelaide's beloved Cameo the Label and welcome C/MEO COLLECTIVE. Under Head Designer Siham Elmeway, C/MEO COLLECTIVE is set to revolutionise the fashion scene by supplying experimental designs to dictate future tends.
Since its establishment in 2011, Cameo has been a leading fixture in the Adelaide fashion scene. Famous for its unique aesthetic, bold, vibrant prints and luxurious fabrics, this Adelaide born label has been a staple not only for local fashionistas, but also for the likes of Gigi Hadid, Kylie Jenner and Emma Roberts.
So what exactly is C/MEO COLLECTIVE I here you say? Essentially, the label remains the same, with the same design team, mother company (Australian Fashion Labels) and will continue releasing monthly collections. This time around however, the label is taking a more adventurous and innovative approach to their designs; by becoming a collective they are freeing themselves of any creative limitations.
"C/meo Collective has become more than just a label,” explains head designer Siham. “It has come to represent a distinct form of self-expression. Every range we use elements of modern life such as architecture, fine art and literature as inspiration, and we want to push ourselves further".
C/MEO COLLECTIVE's debut collection 'Fleetwood' featured in last weeks Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival and drops into stores this April. The whole collection will be available at BNKR.
