Love Notes in Adelaide Botanic Gardens

Love Notes in Adelaide Botanic Gardens

It’s almost Valentines Day y’all! The sweet, yet undeniable sickly scent of luuurve is in the air. For some of us, Valentine’s Day might look a lot like this…

If your single and sassy, Valentine’s Day can often be a trying time involving copious amounts of hard liquor and a good cry watching Bridget Jones Diary; but for those of you who happen to be blissfully loved up, the second week of February has become synonymous with a dozen red roses (or one, roses are bloody expensive), choccies, and some sweet, sweet lovin!

Whether you’ve been with bae for months, or merely minutes, Valentines Day can be a great opportunity to tell the people close to you how much you care for and appreciate them. This year, for something with a little more originality than dinner and a movie, stroll hand in hand down the Botanic Garden’s International Rose Garden for Love Notes in Adelaide Botanic Gardens.

The Splash Adelaide event, which is 100% free, encourages everyone with a bit of love in their heart to share a love note, and dedicate a rose to their Valentine with a personalised helium balloon. Participants can also enter the draw to win a double pass to one of Adelaide’s favourite Valentines activities, the Moonlight Cinemas screening of Breakfast at Tiffany’s, along with a voucher for the Botanic Garden’s Restaurant.

Drop in before heading out for a romantic night on the town, or make a day of it with a delicious picnic feast. Come along and help spread the love around Adelaide!
