Casper & Pearl ABRACADABRA Collection

Casper & Pearl ABRACADABRA Collection

Alice Brooks

Outside the Freemasons building on North Terrace, a sea of bright, summer patterns and beautiful fabrics orderly lined themselves up awaiting entry to view the exciting new range ABRACADABRA from Adelaide-based designer, Casper & Pearl

On entry into the beautiful big hall, acoustic sounds flowed through the gaggle of conversation, while delicious red, white and sparkling wine was on offer for guests. Cleverly initialed 'CP' cupcakes tickled the tastebuds, while not nearly enough arancini balls did the round (I have come to find, that in most cases, girls will out-eat boys - events planners take note).

A Photo Booth set-up provided excitement and fun for those of us (myself included) who love the vanity of shameless selfies and peace and pout snap chats. Each guest received a generously filled goodie bag as well as a delicious Pure Press juice.

As the guests took their seats and the MC took the stage, there was a sense of anticipation in the air to see what Casper and Pearl could deliver in their ABRACADABRA collection. The audience was not disappointed.

From exciting floral sets to block coloured over-sized jackets, there was something to cater for all tastes and styles. The lattice that ran across of the the two-pronged runway provided a special edge to the Casper and Pearl show, giving it an authentic and unique feel, complimenting each of the ensembles.

Polka dot red bralettes and shorts took centre stage, juxtaposing the beautiful evening wear which came in the form of slim-strapped dresses, both tasteful in length and cleavage, adoring a flower on the front of each.

Overall, the ABRACADABRA collection sports a unique collection of clothing that is quirky, girly and a little bit superstitious.

My guess is, that come the drop of the collection next month, there will be a whole lot of magic on the Adelaide fashion scene.
