Stop! In The Name Of Art! is a temporary art installation taking place on Francis St this January 16 and 17. This year, the art exhibition will be back, hosting a Laneway edition, meaning St. Jerome's Laneway Festival fans will be able to get nostalgic about their 2014 festival experience and prepare themselves for the amazing line-up to come this year.
The installation includes a display of ten photographs from the 2014 event at Hart's Mill Port Adelaide, and a ticket stall for those wishing to buy tickets to this year’s event on Friday, 6 February 2015. The public are also invited to enter a competition to win their favourite work from the exhibition, simply by saying which one it is and why.
To add to this already exciting exhibition, Laneway have commissioned a special live art piece to be created over the two days, as part of the event. Adelaide artist Delana Carbone from Spray And Write Art Studio will be creating the live artwork in front of your eyeballs, what could be craftier than that?
