With the recent announcement of Falls Festival, and Soundwave lineups, there has been a nation-wide excitement brewing for the Summer music festival season to begin. Luckily enough, Adelaideans won't have to wait too much longer - because this year our festival season is starting in Spring thanks to Follow the Sun Festival.
The one day blues and roots music festival aims to celebrate Aussie artists and boast a boutique music festival experience with a comfortable, relaxed and alternative vibe. Founder of the event David Elmes, also aims to support local in the way of food and beverages, which will include delicious food vendors, local wineries and a range of boutique beers. He says, “Some outstanding Aussie music talent and a few drinks with your mates. What could be better, It will almost be like a party in your own backyard" ...and we couldn't agree more!
Some of the festival line-up includes Something For Kate's Paul Dempsey, BONJAH, and home grown talents Ciaram Granger and Alice Haddy.
Held in the iconic beachside suburb of Glenelg, the festival will be happening at Wigley reserve on October 5th, from 12pm until 10pm. Get your tickets at oztix and suss out the Follow the Sun website here.
