“We think its important for consumers to think more about giving locally made presents, to gift something hand-made and special this Christmas. Now more than ever its important to support local, small businesses..." says The Mill cofounder Amber Cronin.
The idea of supporting local Adelaide businesses and creatives is what makes this event stand out from the rest, especially during the hustle and bustle of the Christmas period. All too often we as consumers stray away from SA made products due to price, accessibility and trends- however a brigade of South Australian businesses including The Mill, Scott and Scarce and local food producers are proving they have all the boxes ticked for your dollar bill this Christmas.
The Mill is a creative hub for Adelaide's local artists from all disciplines; offering its creative residents spaces to create, connect and collaborate. It acts as a support network and working environment for Adelaide's flourishing arts and culture scene.
Custom: The Mill Resident Exhibition and Opening Night Market will take place at the Mill at 154 Angas St Adelaide on December 4th from 6pm. The Mill's gallery will be set up for the market for this one night only, so don't miss out!
