WOMADelaide second line-up unveiled

WOMADelaide second line-up unveiled

Emilie La Pietra

Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, WOMADelaide have come out with their second line-up announcement, and its a whopper.

Irish singer song-writer Sinéad 'Connor has been announced in the second line-up, leading what looks to be a spectacular array of artists. Other big name acts include Swedish folk duo First Aid Kit, North America's Sharon Van Etten, as well as New South Whales duo Willow Beats. Also added to the list is our very own Adelaidian home-grown Timberwolf, bringing a strong roots-feel of 60's and 70's blues, and an individualistic take on modern folk.

WOMADelaide's first line-up arrived early October and included the likes of Rufus Wainwright, Youssou N’Dour and Public Service Broadcasting.

WOMADelaide 2015 will be held on Friday, 6th March to Monday 9th in the beautiful confines of Botanic Park in Adelaide.
