The 2015 Adelaide Festival of Arts program was announced yesterday, featuring acts such as Danny Elfman, Bill Viola and the Cedar Lake contemporary ballet company.
In its 30th consecutive year, next year's Adelaide Festival will host 22 Australian premiere shows, with another 26 shows throughout. Acts from theatre, music and dance will be coming to you in the form of festivals, puppet shows, orchestral concerts, ballet and multi-instrumentalists (just to name a few), whilst the visual arts component of the festival will feature Blinc, a curated light show, Bill Viola, American Video artist and Trent Park, a photographer from USA.
Aside from theatre, music, dance and visual arts, writers' week will be taking place as part of the festival from Saturday 28th February, until Thursday 5th March. Throughout the week there will be many different writers hosting talks and workshops, including internationally acclaimed writers Dan Barber, Jonas T Bengtsson, Matthew Condon and Andy Griffiths.
The festival will be held from February 27 - March 15, with a pretty jam-packed schedule! For full information about the 2015 program, visit the Adelaide Festival website.
