At the recent Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival in Sydney, Adelaide's own Australian Fashion Labels; Cameo, Finders Keepers, Keepsake, Jaggar and The Fifth Label were a hit with fashion punters, designers and celebs alike.

Following the success of Cameo the Label’s MBFWA runway debut, Aus. Fashion Labels were thrilled to be showing all five of their labels on the MBFFS runway. Cameo the Label, Finders Keepers the Label, Keepsake the Label, and newcomers Jaggar the Label and The Fifth Label showcased their October 2014 collections, receiving high accolades from all who attended.

Cameo’s ‘Objects’ collection is clean and abstract, using linear detail and curved movements to create beauty and interest throughout the range. Each garment has been designed with a specific focus on structural detailing, such as pleating, strong seam lines, large horizontal tucks and curved, funnel necklines. The construction techniques used throughout ‘Objects’ aid in creating three-dimensional silhouettes, which is accentuated by Cameo’s exclusive luminescent leopard and spirograph prints.

Finders Keepers’ ‘Illumni’ collection transforms ‘traditional preppy’, focusing on a fresh, neat and relaxed aesthetic. The collection is infused with soft structures, gorgeous plaid and smart staple pieces that are essential for everyday wear. Mesh detailing is carefully blended with contrasting slinky camisoles and peplum silhouettes to create a cool, laidback collection.

Keepsake’s ‘Latitude’ is strong yet strikingly feminine, creating an infallible balance between femme and fragility. With an emphasis on matching separates, this collection also incorporates sleek wide leg silhouettes, sexy strapless structures as well as modest midi lengths. Intricate lace, delicate diamond prints and beautiful floral pieces come together to form an unassumingly unified collection.

Jaggar’s latest unveiling, ‘East of the Sun’, offers bold styling inspired by rich oriental culture. The range fuses elements of the East with Jaggar ’ s signature street attitude, delivering effortless silhouettes, exclusive prints and hand-designed motifs alongside individually sourced silks, patent leathers, and specialty fabrics for the ultimate in luxe model-off-duty look.

The Fifth Label ’ s ‘ Grand Bazaar ’ satisfies the need for practicality and versatility while providing standout style. From basics to signature pieces, cornerstone garments to statement prints, they cover all bases - think staple shapes, cosy pullovers and sweet separates in pop floral and art deco diamond prints, inspired by the bazaars of the Middle East. Combined with reliable stripes, relaxed blues and denim and exclusive monogram tanks for their own brand of street style with edge.
