A touch of Greece can now be found at Grange, all thanks to Cheeky Greek on Seaview Road. Various delicious yiros combinations, Greek salads, dips, mezze and baclava transports you to Mykonos with what ever tickles your fancy.
So why do we love Cheeky Greek so much? The location, the food and the service.
Cheeky Greek is located on Seaview road with views of Grange beach, even before you need to walk anywhere. You can purchase a mouth watering yiros and chips, head down to the sand to watch the sunset. Yes we know it’s not a sunset in Greece, but Grange beach puts on a pretty darn good one nonetheless. Although, if you’d rather enjoy dining in, Cheeky Greek provides indoor seating that allows you to watch your dinner being cooked (you can literally see them carve that juicy meat off the spit) and to sink into views of Santorini courtesy of the beautifully painted walls.
We tried the traditional yiros with marinated chargrilled lamb, chips, lettuce, tomato, red onion and tzatziki, paired with some extra hot chips on the side. The lamb, straight off the spit, melts in your mouth and the hot chips are doused in feta, garlic oil and oregano for extra deliciousness. Cheeky Greek are all about the “traditional Greek yiros” so they add the chips in the middle and Tony uses his grandfather’s original recipe. Sometimes you just don’t feel like the standard chicken or lamb, which is why we love that Cheeky Greek provides us with a whole range of yummy combos with their own cheeky spin, check them out:
Cheeky Lamb or Chicken Yiros. Marinated and chargrilled lamb or chicken, chips, caramelised onion and parsley with creamy mustard dressing.
Cheeky Combo Yiros. Marinated and chargrilled meats, chips, caramelised onion, parsley, with creamy mustard dressing.
Cheeky Traditional. Marinated and chargrilled lamb, chips, lettuce, tomato, red onion with tzatziki.
Cheeky Prawn Yiros. Marinated and chargrilled prawn, chips, red onion, cucumber, island slaw, parsley, with creamy mustard dressing.

Not to mention you can expect decent prices for high quality food, plus they have other cheeky options - so don't fret if yiros' aren't your cup of tea.
Even on a particularly busy day the service at Cheeky Greek is fantastic. Owners and Western suburbs locals, Tony and Tracey, sure know how to make customers feel welcome and provide a memorable lunch/dinner experience.
When you're wandering down to Grange and you smell the to-die-for aroma of juicy lamb on the spit, don't deny your tastebuds and head on in to Cheeky Greek.
