Ebenezer Place feels miles away from the city centre - providing something akin to the funky laneways of Melbourne. But this is Adelaide, and we don't do things by halves. We have East End Providore.
If you’re not familiar with Ebenezer Place, this is reason enough to head on down. It's still (somehow) somewhat of a hidden treasure. There’s something for everyone. Seriously. Just off Rundle Street to Ebenezer, you’ll find gems like Hey Jupiter, Sad:Cafe, and groovy clothing from the likes of Naomi Murrell. It can make all your hipster dreams come true.
But East End Providore is the standout. It delivers all round goodness in the corner-shop of love. Beautiful people, no crazy crowds (unless you’re popping in around lunchtime), a menu with enough range to satisfy any craving or diet, and provide shelves (literally) of other non-food related treats.
The vegan crepes and smoothie bowl are a hit, and the coffee is heavenly. And if you’re game, the matcha latte is a total winner. There aren’t many places in Adelaide you can snag a green glass of greatness up of this quality.
With magazines to flick through, local produce, and native flora from East End Flower Market, you’ll be in heaven.
Also providing floor-to-ceiling windows for people watching (and watching the weather while being sheltered from it) and easing into the day with your caffeine hit, there’s no going wrong here.
