I want everyone to remain calm. Nordburger, the place where burger dreams are made of, will start opening their doors at 8am to fulfil every breakfast burger goal you've ever had.
In an announcement yesterday, Nordburger published their glorious breakfast menu, reminiscent of a classic American diner brekkie.
The english muffin burgers are filled with your choice of breakfast goodness, whether it be egg, bacon and egg, sausage and egg, or the classic BLT.
In a move that would only be done in our great state, there is a fritz and egg muffin. That's right, there is an option for a breakfast burger containing a fried egg, cheese, mayo, ketchup and a generous piece of that amazing, questionable meat we all love so much. The Fritz and Egg Muffin isn't the only honouring of classic SA eats. The Fruchoc shake is a delicious homage to another SA favourite.
Burgers not your thing? Weird, but no worries. Grab some waffles, or disregard every health consideration by ordering a steaming hot serve of fried chicken and waffles. If you think the combination of fried chicken and sweet, doughy waffles is strange, you clearly haven't tried it yet.
Nordburger has touched many a heart in their short life so far, serving up simple but kickass burgers and hotdogs - favourites including the Nordburger, and the mushroom burger (even my most passionate meat eater friend orders this every time). Since it opened its beautiful store on Port Road in late 2014, it's even easier to get a fix. The addition of fried chicken and Rainbow Island soft serve to the menu only continues to increase its popularity.
To get your fix, head to your nearest Nordburger, either at 168, The Parade Norwood or 259 Port Road Hindmarsh.
