Whether it’s the delicious vegan-friendly raw slices of heaven, slurping smoothie bowls, gourmet burgers, or sweet chick wraps that take your fancy; Argo On the Parade caters for all taste buds. The trendy, bustling café has been the place to be seen throughout 2015 and we’re sure it’ll continue to increase it’s customer base well into 2016. Due to this huge success, the café has been forced to expand their Norwood store, which has recently opened it’s second set of doors (finally!) after months of renovations.
If you’re a regular Argo-er you’ll understand the pain that is standing half way down the parade in what seems like an endless line, to get your table. However, this first world issue is not an issue with the decadent renovations.
FACT: Throughout the first stages of the build of Argo 2.0, the history of the Parade became evident as parts of a 19th century tunnel and cobblestone bridge were dug up.
To kick off the renovations in true Argo-style, the café has also introduced the famous CocoWhip as a new menu option, being the only location in Adelaide to stock the delicious ice cream. CocoWhip is the world’s first vegan and bio-fermented coconut soft serve created by Health Food innovators, BSKT. Made from bio-fermented coconut powder and vegetable sourced stabilisers, CocoWhip is 100% vegan friendly and doesn’t contain, gluten, dairy or soy.
There are 4 CocoWhip variants, which each have varying flavours and nutritional characteristics. The Original CocoWhip formula is loaded with bio-fermented freeze-dried coconut water powder, which is equivalent to over 10 cups of yoghurt. The second cup of deliciousness in the CocoWhip series is The Maqui that contains over 5 times the antioxidant level of Acai with natural vitamin A and C, which has a light, delicious berry taste.
Harvested from the steamy trees of equatorial forests the third in the series is the Organic Cacao, which is lightly sweetened with Raw Organic Coconut Sugar providing a guilt free treat full of flavonoids and antioxidants. Matcha Slim is the final flavour in the series, promoting vitality and wellness through high antioxidant levels. Matcha tea is currently making it’s move from hipster lips into the mainstream market and with new results stating it assists with weight loss though thermogemesis can we blame it?
