Girls Rock Adelaide are a not-for-profit organisation focusing on empowering female, trans and gender non-conforming youth between the ages of 10 and 17. Girls Rock usually run week-long camps throughout the year, where their main aim is to encourage involvement, creativity and confidence within the music scene - but at the end of the month they will be hosting a fundraising event with an impressive lineup featuring Heaps Good Friends, Dead Roo, Teenage Joans, Hey Harriet, and Contract Love.
It’s an all ages event held at the Lion Arts Factory, a space that Girls Rock aim to be free from sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or discriminatory behaviour of any nature. The gig will also be wheelchair accessible and strobe lights will not be used - making the event welcome to all.
Come along to support a great organisation built on empowerment and inclusion, and hear some epic bands perform at the same time!
