Ziran Qi Gong Sessions

Health Wise Integrative Medicine is excited to be hosting a series of one-day wellness retreats at Bird In Hand Winery on August 25, 26 and 27.

Overlooking the Adelaide Hills, the retreat will feature a Qi Gong workshop led by Byron Bay-based and internationally renowned instructor Paul Dumais, and a wine meditation session where participants will be able to unwind and reconnect with their mind, body and soul. In the afternoon guests will be treated to a beautiful lunch, featuring a range of dishes prepared using delicious locally-sourced, fresh produce.

Described as being the secret of youth, Qi Gong can be practiced by anyone, of any age, regardless of their flexibility or overall level of fitness. Mr Dumais, who has led workshops at the Rainbow Serpent festival and Splendour In The Grass, will guide participants through a series of Qi Gong exercises that combine rhythmic breathing with slow, fluid movements to achieve a calm and mindful state.

The retreat’s unique fusion of movement, food, wine and meditation ensures participants not only feel rejuvenated when they leave, but they also take away a range of simple techniques to improve their mental and physical health in the long term.
