Learn to make your own Ham and Bacon at home with this class hosted by the person behind the Newbury and Watson Artisan Smallgoods brand, Master Curer and Smoke Whisperer, Jimmy Chirgwin.

You will learn about the different types of bacon, flavour profiles, cures and wood types which are the main components that contribute to the bacon flavour.

You will also be shown how to prepare a Champagne Ham as well as discussing the brining and smoking methods for a great flavoured ham.

Your ticket includes over $85 retail value worth of Newbury and Watson Smallgoods, including Shortcut Bacon, Sugar Cured Bacon, Boneless Ham and Air Dried Ham (Proscuitto).

During the class, attendees will get to decide as a group on their own customised boneless ham and bacon flavours, which will be made by Jimmy back at the factory. You will receive 1kg each of the customised bacon and ham to collect at your local Feast! store on a specified date after the class.  The class also includes wine from Bremeton and a meal at the end.
